Gurriers release ‘Erasure’, a genre-blending anthem against tyranny

Dublin-based band Gurriers have unveiled their new single, ‘Erasure’, ahead of their upcoming UK tour and performances in Europe and North America. The track is described as a chaotic blend of genres, featuring distorted sounds and an intense message against imperialism and tyranny. This is their first release since their debut album, ‘Come and See’, which came out a year ago. The band worked with Alex Greaves, who produced their debut album, and Pelle Gunnerfeldt, known for his work with the Viagra Boys and The Hives, to create the blistering track. Along with the release, Gurriers have shared a Black Mirror-style music video, directed by Adam Hart, which portrays a dystopian security agency setting. The song arrives just in time for the band’s major performances, including a support slot for Kneecap at Wembley Arena on September 18, and a string of UK dates in October. Fans in the UK, Ireland, Europe, and North America can look forward to hearing more from Gurriers as they head out on their international tours over the next few months.
